Phoebe Gauthier, MA, MPH, recently joined CTBH and the Northeast Node of the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN) from New York University, School of Medicine and the Greater New York Node of the CTN. Phoebe has been a member of the CTN for seven years, contributing to over half a dozen multi-site projects. She has overseen the local implementation of CTN projects at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City as well as contributed to the national implementation of CTN-0051: Extended-Release Naltrexone vs. Buprenorphine for Opioid Treatment (X:BOT). Phoebe has expertise in project management, motivational interviewing, research staff training and supervision, and project implementation. She has a MA in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University and a MPH in Global Health from New York University. Phoebe’s research interests include maternal and child health, global mental health, and innovative treatments for opioid use disorder. In her free time, she enjoys farmer’s markets, cooking, and spending time outside with her family.
